Festlicher Rinderbraten in Rotweinsauce

Zutaten:

  • 1,5 kg Rinderbraten

  • 2 Zwiebeln, 2 Möhren, 1 Sellerie

  • 2 EL Tomatenmark

  • 500 ml Rotwein

  • 500 ml Rinderfond

  • 2 Lorbeerblätter, Thymian, Salz, Pfeffer

Zubereitung:

  1. Fleisch rundherum anbraten.

  2. Gemüse würfeln, mit Tomatenmark anrösten, mit Rotwein ablöschen.

  3. Braten zurücklegen, Fond und Gewürze zugeben.

  4. Zugedeckt 2,5 Stunden bei 160 °C schmoren lassen.

  5. Sauce passieren, evtl. abbinden und zum Fleisch reichen.
